Nissan recently celebrated the success of its crossover range in Europe by unveiling two unique ‘Premium Concept’ versions of the Qashqai and X-Trail. These special editions were showcased at the Geneva Motor Show, where Nissan explored how a more premium and dynamic design interpretation could enhance the appeal of its crossover range in the future.
Created by Nissan Design Europe (NDE) in London, the Qashqai Premium Concept and the X-Trail Premium Concept were designed to showcase a new level of customization and tailored features. Despite being separate models, they shared a common theme in terms of colors, materials, and overall design.
The Qashqai Premium Concept was targeted at the ‘Premium Urbanite’, while the X-Trail Premium Concept was aimed at the ‘Premium Adventurist’. Both models featured a simple yet vibrant color palette, with accents of premium golden copper to bring elegance and warmth to the crossovers.
The Qashqai Premium Concept boasted a contemporary matt black exterior with premium golden copper detailing that highlighted various points on the body shell. The interior featured soft white Nappa leather upholstery and unique premium golden copper gold weave carbon fiber accents throughout.
On the other hand, the X-Trail Premium Concept had a matt white exterior with deep black matt carbon fiber accents on the bonnet and roof. The interior boasted a premium leather upholstery in a natural tan and black color scheme, with black carbon fiber finishing and matt chrome black on the dashboard and door trim.
Overall, the Qashqai Premium Concept and X-Trail Premium Concept showcased Nissan’s commitment to exploring new levels of personalization in the crossover sector. By pushing boundaries and promoting self-expression within the ownership experience, these special editions offered a premium and dynamic experience for every occupant. Nissan continues to lead the way in fulfilling the diverse needs of aspirational customers in Europe.
