At Auto Shanghai 2013, Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company (DFL-PV) unveiled the VIWA electric vehicle concept under the VENUCIA brand. This new concept embodied VENUCIA's vision of future electric mobility and marked a step towards sustainable transportation in China.
Following China's new energy vehicle policy, DFL-PV committed to developing electric vehicles under the VENUCIA badge that were reliable, practical, efficient, and accessible to consumers. This initiative aimed to promote environmental protection and contribute to a more sustainable society.
Ren Yong, deputy managing director of DFL-PV, emphasized the importance of improving fuel economy and promoting the commercialization of new energy vehicles. The unveiling of the VIWA concept and the e30 mass-produced EV were significant milestones in VENUCIA's journey towards sustainable transportation.
In addition to the electric vehicles, VENUCIA also showcased the MY2013 D50 and R50 models at Auto Shanghai 2013. These new models focused on improving fuel economy through engine refinement and the addition of features like a rear spoiler.
Since the launch of its first model in April 2012, VENUCIA had achieved a total of 70,000 sales, highlighting the brand's growing presence in the Chinese automotive market. The unveiling of the VIWA concept and the showcasing of the latest models reflected VENUCIA's commitment to innovation and sustainability in the automotive industry.
