A new zero-emission vehicle concept has just been introduced at the Brussels Motor Show. Named E-Car 333, it is a pre-production three-wheeled electric car designed and built in Belgium.
This small vehicle is the initiative of Mr. Xavier Van der Stappen who has developed it with his partners. The car will be powered by a 15 or 25 kW engine with regenerative braking allowing a driving distance from 150 to 300 km. The batteries of the car will come as an integral part and it will possible to charge them in one hour using a fast charge terminal.
This new company plans to make at least six different versions of the car including 2-, 3- and 4-seater versions as hard top, roadster, buggy or even pick-up! An even more important point is the calculated economy of this three-wheeler. E-Car 333 will supposedly be able to cover a distance of 100 km at a price of just 1€! An estimated base price for the first Belgian electric three-wheeler start at 18,000 €.
