XING Mobility

XING Mobility was a Taiwanese electric-vehicle technology company founded in Taipei in 2015. Although it later positioned itself primarily as a battery and powertrain supplier, its best-known early demonstrator was the Miss R prototype, a rally-inspired electric supercar developed as a proof-of-concept for the firm’s immersion-cooled battery system. Company material dated the Miss R to 2017 and described it as a complete vehicle development program with four motors, all-wheel drive, 1 megawatt peak output, and a 52 kWh immersion-cooled high-discharge battery pack.

Contemporary coverage presented the Miss R as a road-and-off-road prototype rather than a planned mass-production model. Reported specifications consistently included four independent 350-volt motors, torque vectoring, a claimed 0-100 km/h time of 1.8 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 5.1 seconds, and a projected top speed above 270 km/h. XING said the car served mainly to validate its battery architecture, including rapid battery swapping and direct immersion cooling for thermal control under extreme load. In practice, Miss R appears to have remained a technology demonstrator and brand halo project, important less as a commercial car than as the prototype that established XING Mobility’s engineering identity.
