Gorin

UKRAINE

time-calendar.png 1985

In 1985, a self-made car Gorin was constructed in the small Ukrainian town of Zbarazh, located in the Ternopil region. This unique vehicle was inspired by the BMW Turbo concept designed by Paul Bracq.

The car featured a Moskvich 412 engine with a 1.5-liter displacement, delivering 75 horsepower. It was paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The body was crafted from fiberglass, mounted on a tubular steel spatial frame, and included aluminum "gull wing" doors, adding a touch of sophistication and functionality.

As a 2-door, 5-seater coupe, the car combined practicality with sporty aesthetics. The windshield was sourced from a Volga GAZ 24, while the remaining windows were made from plexiglass.
