During March of 1970, the Chevrolet III Studio presented its Camaro Z28 sport wagon clay model for assessment on the Design Patio. This proposal for a sport wagon was in progress as a component of GM's RWD "K" program, which ultimately commenced production in 1975. In that same year, Chevy Studio crafted the Camaro sport-wagon clay model, drawing inspiration from GM's innovative K Platform.
