In November 1964, Chevy Studio unveiled a clay model version of XP-836, which eventually evolved into GM's iconic Camaro. The exhibited model showcased significant differences from the final production design adopted for the '67 Camaro. Notably, this clay model was labeled as a "Panther," reflecting one of the initial names deliberated for the project.
