The "Tresaire" is a two-seat sports car built to showcase C&C's news innovative convertible system - the C&C "Skylite Convertible Hardtop System". Introduced at the 1990 North American International Motor Show, the roof system was originally called the "Intrigue Convertible Hardtop System" and has subsequently been renamed "Skylite".
An industry leader in the design, engineering and assembly of specialty vehicles, particularly convertibles, C&C is breaking new ground with the development of this innovative roof system.
To showcase this system, C&C created and built, from the ground up, the Tresaire concept vehicle. Not just a show car, the vehicle is high performance, driveable testbed for C&C roof development.
"We're proud of this project team effort", states David L. Draper, President and CEO-C&C Incorporated. "In less than six month's time" our team of talented individuals conceptualized, designed, clay modeled and completely fabricated and entire vehicle showcasing our unique Skylite Convertible Hardtop System, as well as many other creative innovations.
"This concept is not only an example of C&C's advanced convertible technology, but also demonstrates our ability to respond quickly to manufacturer's needs and market trends. Since we already have the resources and practiced expertise in place, we can offer our clients creative solutions in specialty vehicle design as well as quick turnaround time."
