HYUNDAI CROSSES OVER WITH THE NEOS IN JAPAN
Hyundai has just unveiled the world’s first crossover utility vehicle – the Neos II, which is now on display at the Tokyo Motor Show.
The Neos II has come from Hyundai’s state-of-the-art Japan Design Centre in Chiba, and is the second major Hyundai design it has undertaken.
The Neos II is a luxurious full four seater, and the interior bristles with advanced technology with extensive use of touch-screen controls.
Moving outside, the Neos boasts the Adaptive Forward Lighting System (which means the lights can ‘see around’ corners, giving much better visibility) and an innovative multi-link rear sliding door – making it easier to get in and out.
Oles Gadacz, Director Global Public Relations, said: "Neos II is a reflection of Hyundai's growing confidence in design. With newly expanded design centers in Chiba Japan, Irvine California and Russelsheim Germany working under the coordination of the Central Design Center in Namyang Korea, Hyundai is now able to draw on diverse inputs and express itself in a new and individualistic design language that will redefine the Hyundai image."
