The Ford of the future may look like this. The dart-shaped Action was developed by Ford's Ghia design studios in Turin, Italy. Each of the sleek fiberglass body panels is shaped for minimum drag and lift. The prominent front spoiler sweeps down along the sides, creating a wide, negative-lift skirt that completely shrouds the rear wheels. The large, curved rear spoiler is adjustable. Side radiators above and rear wheels provide cooling for the mid-mounted Ford Formula 1 V8 engine. Standard sedans could have similar design features, according to Ghia.
