The cyclecar craze in the United States had ended by the mid-teens, but marine engineer Walter Dunn of Ogdensburg, NY decided to give it a go.
The Dunn featured a V4 air-cooled engine of Dunn's own design, which he manufactured and also sold separately, 2-speed transmission, shaft drive, wire wheels and the very low price of $295. Sales were minimal, and after a couple of years Dunn went back to designing and building marine engines.
