The design of the Diehlmobile resembled a five-wheeled golf cart, emphasizing portability and convenience. It was engineered to be disassembled quickly, allowing it to fit into a car trunk for easy transport. The vehicle featured a single front wheel with a tiller-style steering mechanism, while the two small rear wheels were equipped with trailer-style mudguards.

Inside, the Diehlmobile offered a wide bench seat that could be removed for use outside the vehicle. The rear-mounted 3 horsepower motor utilized a chain drive to power the rear axle, contributing to the vehicle's lightweight and compact design.
