Belmobile

1912-1912

Belmobile was an American automobile manufacturer established in 1912 by the Bell Motor Car Company, based in Detroit, Michigan. The company produced a single model, the Belmobile Model A, which was introduced at the Detroit Automobile Show in January of the same year.

The Belmobile Model A was a two-seat roadster characterized by its long bonnet, which was notable given that it housed a modest 2-cylinder engine. This engine was rated at 20 horsepower and was paired with a 2-speed gearbox and shaft drive. Despite its innovative design, the Belmobile did not survive beyond its inaugural year, ceasing production shortly after its introduction.
