Europa Engineering was a British automotive company based in Southport, Lancashire, known for its expertise in the Lotus Europa model. The company leveraged its experience to produce replicas of notable Lotus vehicles, including the Lotus 47, which it named the 47R.

In addition to the 47R, Europa Engineering developed another model called the 62, which was designed with a focus on racing. This model featured square headlamps and wider wheel arches, enhancing its performance-oriented aesthetics.

In the 1990s, Europa Engineering updated its concepts, incorporating a mid-mounted engine sourced from manufacturers such as Vauxhall, Alfa Romeo, or Renault, similar to the original design. The suspension system was specifically designed to utilize components from Ford and Triumph, ensuring compatibility and performance. The company also offered the option to convert genuine Lotus Europa vehicles, further expanding its offerings in the automotive market.
