1910-1914

Dodson Motors Ltd was a British automobile manufacturer based in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, active from 1910 to 1914. The company was a subsidiary of the renowned gear-making firm David Brown & Sons Ltd.

The Dodson vehicles were notable for their close resemblance to Renault models, featuring similar designs and engineering. However, they incorporated specific modifications, including the use of a Zenith carburettor and alterations to the ignition and lubrication systems.

During its brief production run, Dodson Motors Ltd offered two primary models: a 12/16 horsepower variant and a more powerful 20/30 horsepower model. Despite its short existence, the brand contributed to the early automotive landscape in the United Kingdom.
