The BJS was the brainchild of one Ben J. Sparham (hence the name), and was an ugly plastic-bodied 2+2 gull-wing coupe based on Ford Cortina parts, with styling apparently inspired by the Lamborghini Countach. The lone prototype made an appearance the 1987 Belle Vue kit car show, and after a potential buyer got stuck inside the vehicle, production did not eventuate.
