Allard was a British automobile manufacturer founded in 1937 by Sydney Allard. Initially established as Adlards Motors Ltd in Putney, London, the company focused on producing sports cars and racing vehicles. The brand gained recognition for its innovative designs and performance-oriented models, which appealed to both enthusiasts and competitive drivers.

In 1946, the company was rebranded as Allard Motor Co. Ltd and relocated to Clapham, London. During its operational years, Allard produced a range of notable models, including the Allard J2, which became famous for its success in motorsport. The company was known for its use of American V8 engines, which contributed to the performance characteristics of its vehicles.

Allard ceased production in 1960, but the brand remains significant in automotive history for its contributions to the sports car segment and its influence on subsequent British automotive design.
