Kremer Racing

The Kremer K3R was a limited-production road car introduced by Kremer Racing in the mid-2010s as a modern homage to the team’s famous Porsche 935 K3 that won Le Mans in 1979. Based on the Porsche 997 Turbo, the K3R featured completely reworked bodywork inspired by Group 5 racing cars, including a slant nose, flared arches, wide track, large rear wing, and extensive use of carbon fibre panels. The styling closely recalled the original 935 K3 while being adapted for road use.

Mechanically, the K3R retained the twin-turbocharged 3.6-litre flat-six engine from the 997 Turbo, with Kremer offering performance upgrades raising output to around 620 hp. Suspension, brakes, and aerodynamics were also enhanced, and the car weighed about 1,595 kg. Performance claims included a top speed of over 300 km/h.

Production was highly limited, with only 40 cars planned, either as full builds or as conversions of customer-supplied 997 Turbos.
