Marcel Viratelle was an inventor and builder of motorized bicycles, motorcycles, sidecars and cyclecars. In 1919 he founded the Société Anonyme des Motocyclettes et Automobiles Viratelle in Lyon, which began operations by manufacturing motorcycles, but between 1922 and 1924 also manufactured small cyclecars under the brand name Viratelle. The Viratelle cyclecar used motorcycle components and 350cc engines. An unusual feature was the 'cyclops' front headlight.
