Butterosi was a French automobile manufacturer that operated from 1919 to 1924, based in Boulogne-sur-Seine. The company, officially known as Ste Nouvelle des Automobiles Butterosi, introduced its vehicles during a period marked by the post-World War I automotive boom.

The Butterosi cars were characterized by their small size and were powered by a 1327cc side-valve four-cylinder engine. Notably, they featured unit construction for both the engine and the four-speed gearbox, along with a combined magneto and dynamo system. The available body styles included a two-seater, a four-seater tourer, and a six-light saloon, the latter of which was often criticized for its unattractive design, exacerbated by the use of Michelin disc wheels. In contrast, the two-seater model with wire wheels was considered more aesthetically pleasing.

The Butterosi was showcased at the Paris and London motor shows in 1919 and received considerable advertising in the British press. However, after its appearance at the Scottish Show in January 1920, the brand faded from prominence, and little was heard from it thereafter, although it remained listed in some automotive directories until 1924.
