Aerocarene was a French automotive manufacturer established in 1947, known for its unique three-wheeled coupe, the Aerocarene 700. The vehicle was designed by engineers Desbenoit and Bodu, showcasing an unconventional aesthetic that set it apart from contemporary automobiles.

The Aerocarene 700 was powered by a 684cc two-cylinder, two-stroke engine, which produced 23 brake horsepower. It featured a distinctive transmission system utilizing a Cotai electromagnetic gearbox, directing power to a single rear wheel. The coupe achieved a top speed of 77 mph (125 km/h), which was notable for its time.

One of the most striking aspects of the Aerocarene 700 was its design, which lacked traditional doors. Instead, the front section of the body slid forward to provide access to the cockpit, which was constructed from lightweight alloy and plexiglass. The vehicle's headlights were positioned above the spatted front wheels, further contributing to its unique appearance.
