Unveiling the 777 Hypercar: A Spectacle of Innovation and Performance in Abu Dhabi and Dubai

Jan 05, 2024

In a dazzling event that took place from December 13 to 16, 2023, the much-anticipated 777 Hypercar had its world premiere in the opulent surroundings of the United Arab Emirates. The unveiling was a double delight for automotive enthusiasts, with the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi hosting the dynamic debut on Wednesday, December 13, followed by a subsequent event in Dubai.

Conceived by the visionary entrepreneur and collector, Andrea Levy, the 777 Hypercar is an Italian masterpiece crafted at the prestigious Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. Engineered and built by Dallara, powered by Gibson, and designed by the talented Umberto Palermo, this hypercar is a testament to cutting-edge technology and high-performance engineering. Limited to just seven exclusive track-use models, the 777 Hypercar is poised to leave an indelible mark on the automotive industry.

Drawing inspiration from endurance racing prototypes, the 777 Hypercar distinguishes itself by not participating in the main hypercar category championships (IMSA/WEC). This unique approach allowed the design team to break free from the rules and restrictions imposed by championships, resulting in extraordinary performance on every circuit. The hypercar boasts an estimated lap time at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza of 1 minute and 33 seconds, a remarkable two seconds faster than the last pole position achieved at the WEC 6 Hours of Monza.

The chassis of the 777 Hypercar is an FIA-homologated carbon monocoque, featuring sophisticated aerodynamics developed by Dallara. These aerodynamics generate an astounding 2,100 kg of downforce at a top speed of 370 km/h. With a limited weight of just 900 kg and a lateral acceleration of up to 4 g, the 777 Hypercar promises an unparalleled driving experience.

Under the hood, a naturally aspirated V8 engine with a displacement of 4,500 cc powers the hypercar. Developing an impressive 800 hp with a "push to pass" mechanism at 9,000 rpm, the engine runs on synthetic fuel, ensuring a 65% reduction in CO² emissions. Alternatively, it can be powered by e-fuel.

Following its grand premiere at the Yas Marina Circuit, the 777 Hypercar, in collaboration with Curbstone Events and Windrose Consulting, made its way to the Dubai Autodrome for a second round of spectacle on December 15 and 16.

In an additional highlight, the groundbreaking 777 A.I. Racing Virtual Coaching was introduced as a world premiere in the United Arab Emirates. This innovative and patented system employs artificial intelligence to provide real-time data on the car's dynamic performance, aiding the driver in improving their performance. Customizable telemetry, visible on seven dedicated monitors behind the steering wheel, ensures a personalized and efficient coaching experience.

Andrea Levy, the CEO of 777 Motors, expressed his excitement about creating a hypercar that aims to set the benchmark for performance and innovation in the automotive industry. The collaboration with Dallara engineers has resulted in an exclusive preview of the first running prototype in the United Arab Emirates, garnering immediate interest in the engineering-experimental research behind the 777 Hypercar.

As the 777 Hypercar takes center stage, it presents not only a marvel of technology but also a testament to the collaborative effort that brings dreams to life. With a price tag of 7 million euros + VAT, delivery scheduled from 2026, and a limited production of just seven units, the 777 Hypercar is set to become a rare and coveted gem in the world of high-performance vehicles.
