mazda showed mazda shinari concept at a private event in milan, italy on 30th of august. following a previous design language known as the 'flow' or 'nagare'*, the new concept sedan introduces a new direction for mazda's future design. it is named kodo and means soul or motion in japanese. 

not much details are known about this concept car, which reminds infiniti essence concept, so stay tuned for updates until its public premiere at paris motor show this october.

* the first nagare-themed concept car appeared at 2006 los angeles moto show. not surprisingly, it was named nagare. during the following years the next nagare-styled concept cars have been shown: ryuga, hakaze, taiki, furai, kiyora and kazamai.
