This latest model not only commemorates the brand's 120th anniversary but also showcases advanced technology and exquisite design.
Presented amidst grandeur at Finca Mas Solers, the Carmen Sagrera embodies Hispano Suiza's commitment to excellence. Miguel Suqué, President of Hispano Suiza, reflects on the brand's enduring legacy, rooted in the visionary spirit of its founders, Damián Mateu and Marc Birkigt. He emphasizes that the Sagrera signifies not only technological prowess but also a testament to teamwork and passion for challenging projects.
At the heart of the Carmen Sagrera lies its cutting-edge technology, including a second-generation 103 kWh battery developed entirely at Hispano Suiza's facilities in Montmeló, Barcelona. This upgrade enhances energy density and extends the driving range to an impressive 480 km under WLTP standards. The battery's advanced cooling system improves efficiency while reducing energy consumption, contributing to optimal performance.
Francesc Arenas, head of design, highlights the Sagrera's sporty evolution, drawing inspiration from the iconic Hispano Suiza Alfonso XIII. The car's aerodynamic enhancements, such as the distinctive stork-wing shaped spoiler, not only optimize performance but also pay homage to the brand's heritage. Inside, the cabin exudes luxury with alcantara upholstery and bespoke infotainment options, offering a blend of exclusivity and technological sophistication.
The Sagrera boasts formidable performance credentials, powered by four 205 kW motors delivering a combined output of 1,100 hp and 1,160 Nm of torque. With a rapid acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds, the Sagrera promises an exhilarating driving experience. Its advanced suspension and braking systems, crafted from military-grade materials, ensure precise handling and control, tailored for both track performance and everyday use.
