Among all newest automotive creations and world premieres at Geneva Motor Show this year one completely stands out. It is the car that came from '30s, as its creator Mr Felix Eaton says. The Black Cuillin by new British company Eadon Green is a neoclassic automobile. The idea of retro car started in 2013 and it was Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 which gave an initial inspiration to create a new model based on classic lines. Extraordinary Delahaye masterpieces by French coachbuilding artists Figoni & Falaschi, Chapron, Pourtot and, of course, Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic gave a start for ambitious project to design and produce the world’s most exclusive coach built cars.
Sketching and designing work of a coupe model resulted in a physical form of Black Cuillin - elegant, stylish and classic coupe - a modern grand tourer with all and everything retro about itself. Painted in deep purple color the Geneva Motor Show demonstrator is an indeed gorgeous tribute to the past. An extra accent is that it does not obey modern trends of eco driving, electrification, hybridization, etc. Black Cuillin is powered by a mighty petrol-burning V12 engine of undisclosed origin.
Eadon Green company is in partnership with Envisage Group company who realized many automotive projects inclusing retro-inspired cars like David Brown Speedback GT or Bensport La Sarthe. Definitely, having good and reliable cooperation is an important aspect for a start-up company to realize its ideas.
There's no exact specifications or pricing confirmed for the Black Cuilling so far, but we are looking forward to hearing more about it and we will report it here as soon as we get official info about this piece of automotive art.
