Every year the month of May is well signified by the most prestigious and exclusive supercar show in the world - Top Marques - in Monaco. Every time this unique event is a place where absolutely amazing and extraordinary automobiles of both well known and new brands make their global debuts. This year is no exception.
Among other stars on the showfloor was the unbelievable super automobile of the new Italian boutique manufacturer FV-Frangivento. This company established by innovative creators duo Giorgio Pirolo and Paolo Mancini presented first model - the Asfane - at Parco Valentino - Salone dell'auto Torino in 2016. At the end of last year they even took the car to the height of 2500m on the Tofana peak in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This year in Monaco FV-Frangivento shows their second model - the white and elegant open-top machine named Charlotte Roadster giving tribute to the Principality of Monaco, Côte D’Azur and Mediterranean culture. It is a fully electric hypercar taking inspirations from wildlife animals - swan and shark in the interior while the muscular, yet elegant, exterior reminds a galloping horse. Elegance, unique driving experience, pleasure and relaxation is all embodied inside the cockpit of the Charlotte Roadster. Special Sparco seats, elements resembling waves, Modena Interior paneling, luxury 3W Tout Bois veneer, exclusive leather from Atelier Foglizzo 1921 and even controls made from silver are in place to make the driver and passenger feel as if they are diving into the sea. A key feature that makes this outstanding automobile absolutely unique and emphasizes deep relaxation is a real and functioning aquarium behind the seats. It is a home for two fishes Nemo and Dory :) Moreover, at the bottom of the aquarium is a little bottle with the names of all those who took part in the project.
The company intends to raise awareness of eco-friendly non-polluting automobiles of high performance. It's new model has axial flow motors with a total power of 260kW on the front axle and 400kW on the rear axle. The Charlotte Roadster can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and develop a top speed of 300+ km/h. FV-Frangivento's car got a hand-beaten aluminium bodywork placed on a modular aluminum frame.
There is no word about the possible production numbers for the car or very detailed specifications available. That is not really needed. The Charlotte Roadster is an exclusive and unique art on wheels and an example of automotive creativity. It is for those collectors who have exceptional taste, for those who appreciate bold ideas and Italian craftsmanship.
