Briggs Automotive Company is a new British company which has an objective to find its niche mong the other superlightweight sportscars. Their first single-seater supercar model, respectively named Mono is a Cosworth-engined beast. Its mid-mounted 2.3-liter engine develops 280 hp at 7700 rpm and the same amount of torque at 6000 rpm.
Mono utilizes steel safety cell around which a carbon fiber composite bodywork is built. The BAC engineers have achieved a result of an extreme weight. Their creation weighs only 540 kg!
Automobile features a fully-adjustable pushrod suspension. Its damping elements are made by SACHS Racing.
35 units of this new British supercar will be built this year for a price starting at £66,625. 10 examples are already presold.
