Have you have thought of having your own Batmobile in your garage? Most of the enthusiasts have, but only few of them have realized this dream to drive a car that everyone recognizes.
There are several companies these days in the USA which are manufacturing the bodyworks of the 1989 Batmobile. However, building an ordinary GM-powered replica was not enough for Putsch Racing from Dublin, Ohio so the crew decided to install a Boening turbine engine taken from military helicopter! The aggreagate is said to be capable of delivering 385 horses which makes 0.138 hp / lb or 0.3 hp / kg.
The one-off Batmobile specimen is also equipped with the state-of-the-art mobile technologies. In the middle of the central console one can find an Apple iPad wihch serves as avionics device, provides GPS and sattelite internet connection.
