AK Motor Polska revived legendary Syrena name! Pricing for Meluzyna R model accounced

AK Motor Polska Sp. z o.o., releases pricing information for the AK Syrena Meluzyna R.

WARSAW, Poland, January 05, 2016 -  AK Motor Polska Sp. z o.o. has proudly unveiled the new AK Syrena Meluzyna R at the 53rd Barborka Rally in downtown Warsaw, Poland on December 12, 2015 to thunderous applause.  The two seat track car with exceptional performance and heritage now has a price tag assigned to it starting at 60,000 €.  The AK Syrena Meluzyna R is the official continuation of the classic FSO Syrena introduced in 1955 and will be offered in a limited, exclusive quantity of 25 cars, hand-built and ready for the race track for a lucky few owners.  First come, first served.

The Meluzyna R is constructed around a hand built, chromoly tubular steel space frame, with composite material bodywork and powered by a highly tuned motor putting out over 300 kW (400 hp).  The car weighs only about 1100 kg (2425 lbs) making for a power-to-weight ratio that is in the supercar class.  Bespoke versions may be built to the customers’ individual requirements at an appropriate price.  Prospectus requests and orders may be placed at [email protected].

According to AK Motor founder Arkadiusz Kaminski, “At 60 years of age, Syrena is one of the great classic European car brands.  It is time for Poland to share this brand with the rest of the world.  What better way to do it than with a race car?”
