Team Galag teases first-ever Saudi Arabian supercar - the TG1

Feb 19, 2013

A very brave Team Galag - participants of the Gumball 3000 supercar rally - have made a very brave step further. This squad is aiming to build, most probably, the first ever Saudi Arabian supercar to take place at the event this year.

The teased model will be known as the TG1 and will be made from scratch in conjunction with the Parker Brothers Concepts and some undisclosed consultants. This unique and one-of-a-kind machine will be powered by a tuned 3.8-liter V6 twin-turbocharged engine developing 750 hp and giving a chance to achieve a top speed of 200 mph (320+ km/h). Team Galag estimates their model will be that good to make 0-60mph in as little as 2.68 seconds. Yes, these are spectacular numbers claimed by a still very little known team.

No matter how, the car is set for unveil in Copenhagen, Denmark before the official start of Gumball 3000 on 18th May. There is no word if the car will be ever made in   anything more than a single piece, but, truth is, Saudi Arabia will be well marked on the supercar map with the arrival of the TG1.
