The vehicle utilized a Volkswagen front suspension combined with Chevrolet steering, while the rear featured a complete motorcycle engine and suspension system. This innovative approach to vehicle design reflected a blend of automotive and motorcycle engineering principles.

David Stollery, who was also responsible for the design of the Trihawk, played a significant role in shaping the Fire Aero's distinctive aerodynamic profile.
