Sunpacer Manufacturing was a vehicle maker based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, known for producing a range of boxy-shaped leisure and utility vehicles with fibreglass bodywork. These vehicles used Volkswagen Golf mechanical components mounted on a sheet steel monocoque chassis, which had a wheelbase approximately 300mm shorter than that of the Golf. Sunpacer offered its vehicles either as kits for self-assembly or as fully-built models.
