The company aimed to produce a compact and economical vehicle, specifically a very small monocoque plastic economy car. The prototype developed by C.T.D. was powered by a 1.8 bhp Zündapp engine. Despite its innovative approach and the unique design of the vehicle, the company operated for a brief period, ceasing activities in 1990.
