Le Carabe was a microcar designed by the French inventor Hippolyte Delimar, notable for being one of the world's smallest cars. Constructed primarily from standard bicycle parts, the car featured a wooden, closed-body design. Measuring just 75 cm in height and 73 cm in width, Le Carabe was extremely lightweight at only 45 kg. Powered by a bicycle engine, it could reach speeds of 30 to 40 km/h, making it surprisingly efficient for its size. Its fuel consumption was minimal, capable of traveling 100 kilometers on just 2 liters of gasoline, highlighting its innovation in fuel efficiency.
