Seat - Salsa [1]

time-calendar.png 2002

After two years from its initial presentation, SEAT’s futurist car Salsa, that was wholly developed by the Martorell Technical Centre, spearheading a novel car concept, the MDC (Multi Driving Concept) is now more attractive due to its renewed exterior and interior look. Its new body color immediately catches your eye. The solid red, which was formerly shiny silver, has been achieved through the application of seven layers of transparent red resin.

The more youthful, dynamic and sportier look of the passenger compartment is reigned by the colors red and black. The floor and the interior door panels are covered by a washable material with a smooth metallic effect. Changes have been brought also to the dashboard, since the instrument panel casing is red, which lends a velvety look similar to rose petals.

As for the passenger’s comfort, due to a swivel stick, the new Salsa offers the possibility to chose between three different driving moods: Comfort, Sport and City. Depending on the selected option, there is a change in the driving position, the gearbox (Tiptronic or automatic), and in the type and amount of information provided to the driver.
