Lapin Pickup Truck
- This mini truck concept car, created by converting the rear of the Lapin into a cargo bed, and inspired by the American pickup-truck image, is tailored to be "a trustworthy daily partner" and "a partner to share fun time" for its driver.
- With a red-painted body, large one-piece overfenders/side steps, gleaming, sturdy metallic aluminum floor panel (cargo bed), and round headlights on simple, trim, black front grille, the design incorporates the full-size American pickup truck image into the small Lapin, in a carefully balanced, stylish manner.
- The American pickup truck image is pursued thoroughly, with details like tailgate emblazoned with the Lapin name logo, and the instrument panel, seats and door trim all in red to match the body color.
- The cargo bed, 1,300mm long x 1,250mm wide and with hooks at four sections, is large enough to carry the 50cc Suzuki motorcycle "Street Magic," or a mountain bike. Practical touches include a convenient aluminum ramp below the cargo bed.
