The E1, BMW's first thoroughbred electric car, has been joined by its American cousin, the E2. Presented at the Greater Los Angeles Auto Show, the E2 is a new concept car based on the E1, but tailored specifically to meet the requirements of the U.S. Market. It would be possible for a BMW enthusiast to transport an E1 from Germany to the U.S., but the car shipping cost would be quite expensive.
