Citroën is alluding to its past with the Cruise Crosser, developed by the Espera Sbarro School in partnership with Citroën Styling A special version of the C-Crosser, the Cruise Crosser is an allterrain vehicle for authentic off-road journeys equipped with three axles and six wheels that, like the very first half-track vehicles, provide traction in the harshest driving conditions (snow, sand and mud).
Citroën is going back to its roots with the Cruise Crosser, and showing its expertise in all-terrain vehicles. The third axle is used along with the other drive wheels when the going gets tough and requires more traction. But this off-road travels is not made at the expense of the environment.
Faithful to its commitments to cutting fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, the Cruise Crosser is a hybrid vehicle combining a diesel combustion engine with an electric motor fitted under the tipper bed.
The Cruise Crosser will be on show throughout the Geneva event on the Espera Sbarro stand in Hall 2.
