The Yeti family has grown
Journalists, specialists and the public waited tensely for what Škoda would bring to the autumn IAA Motor Show in Frankfurt. A team of designers headed by Thomas Ingenlath came up with a surprise once again. The pick-up version of the Yeti is one of the biggest attractions at the Škoda stand.
The variable roof system of the Yeti was developed jointly with the renowned firm Karmann. The combination of hardtop and softtop (canvas roof) offers three variations of “open-air” travel. When driving with the roof down, the driver and passenger see the blue sky; when the rear section of the canvas roof is off, Yeti is transformed into a classic pick-up. If the crew decides to take a drive without both roof parts, they may look forward to maximum experience of a drive in an open vehicle.
Cruising in such a vehicle through the streets of the seaside resort could be quite interesting, what do you think?
