William C Harrigan claimed to have been on the engineering staff of Isotta Fraschini, Locomobile and Packard, and claimed to have built 500 examples of the Harrigan. On closer investigation the Harrigan was found to be a single Case Model V-22 with a redesigned, ill-fitting radiator and a badge proclaiming the car to be a Harrigan.
