Ulf Bolumild started producing guitars in Sweden, but between 1987-92 followed another dream and started producing automobiles and subsequently produced a number of low volume vehicles including the VW based Mania Spyder.
In 2001 an ambitious project to produce a road-going Le Mans GT car was created and a prototype was put on display powered by an Alfa Romeo V6 engine.
Production models (GTR & Superlight track) were built based upon a race derived steel space-frame chassis with carbon bodywork, powered by a rear mid-mounted 4475cc V8 (450hp) engine (Rover or GM) with a Porsche 5-speed manual transmission.
It is not clear how many GTR’s were produced but the company (United Design Group) closed in 2005.
