Le Zebre was one of the most popular and longest running French light car manufacturers of the early 20th century. One of he main financiers of the Le Zebre car when it was organised in 1909 was car dealer Jacques Bizet, who was the son of famous classical music composer Georges Bizet. Like many other smaller French manufacturers, Le Zebre could not compete against the 'Big Three' - Citroen, Renault & Peugeot.
