Maltese company Silex Power has just announced they are developing a super high performance all-electric fastback sedan. Entitled Chreos, the car is supposed to go into production sometime in 2015 and will be a luxury and much capable vehicle.
The manufacturer claims that the Chreos will utilize both latest technologies and will feature classic retro styling - all in one. However, estimated specifications still sound unrealistic and too good to be true. Silex Power says that their machine will be as much good as a true supercar in terms of power, acceleration and top speed. This Maltese electric contender will be run by four in-wheel motors altogether developing a massive power of 640hp and inconceivable 4400Nm (yes, correct, 4400Nm is what they say!) of torque. The Chreos will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere period of 2.9 seconds and will cruise the road at a limited top speed of 300 km/h.
Moreover, the Silex Power states that due to high-end and very expensive battery technology they are developing together with partners, it will be possible to fully charge the Chreos in only 10 minutes using high voltage port.
At this moment, the vision of the Maltese company is to develop a new platform of super high performance, luxurious and convenient electric vehicles. When it comes from drawings to real life guise, the Chreos will be the first example of this kind.
Stay tuned for further updates, as they will be available on the 29th of April.
